Description: In this Autodesk Fusion 360 video, Dylan Smith demonstrates how to use the advanced tool orientation controls in the Fusion 360 core offering. Dylan demonstrates how to achieve tool orientations that aren't possible with the basic orientation controls such as perpendicular, linear, or true cylinder selection. Dylan demonstrates how to use surface normal, in which a point on a 3D geometry can be selected to achieve an orientation normal to the selection. Not only that, but the drag handles associated to the orientation, which allow users to drag the orientation, and input numerical values to further adjust the orientation. Finally, align to view. This tool allows users to capture a tool orientation normal to the camera view, for situations where there is no geometry to reference our tool orientation from. ►FREE TRIAL | autode.sk/31Sxeef ►SUBSCRIBE | autode.sk/30njGGX ►GET STARTED | autode.sk/30k2DWh CONNECT with Fusion 360 on social media: INSTAGRAM | autode.sk/2Enzh8P FACEBOOK | autode.sk/19jII5A TWITTER | autode.sk/19jIJXc LISTEN to the Fusion 360 podcast "The New Possible": BLOG | autode.sk/3qbFsFS SPOTIFY | autode.sk/3txPz9O APPLE | autode.sk/36LwBTE GOOGLE | autode.sk/2YQccbC
